After this Paqui has showed to the class the Alicia's Journal, also Paqui has included a new video in the blog and she has showed to the class, this video consist in the three branches of government (executive, legislative and judicial).

Paqui has resumen with his words the War of Spanish Succession and has given to the class 15 minutes to do a scheme of this.

In the middle of the class Bea has arrived to the class and Paqui has joke Bea and all the class laught a lot. Also Artura, Jesus  and Luis has disturbing me because are very "funny".

Also we have copied some new interesting words in the glossary:

-Prohibition: Ley Seca
-To poison: Envenenarse
-To date: Salir con alguien
-To have a date: Tener una cita
-Seizure: Ocupación

Hello,

I think this journal is too short. You should explain what we learned about the War of Spanish Succession, because this was the main content of the lesson. Please, make a bigger effort and don´t be so lazy.

Bye!

Hello Santiago,
Your journal is rather short, but still, full of mistakes. I think you should pay more attention to what you are doing…not everything is about having fun. These are my comments:

Today Paqui has started the class giving the notebooks to the people that gave them to her on Monday .
No article in the possessive expression. You should know it by now. You have studied it plenty of times: Paqui has showed the class Alicia's Journal ; Paqui has also explained Charles II’s testament
Paqui has ALSO included a new video in the blog
What else can I say about the –s in the 3rd person singular : This video consists in the three branches of government (executive, legislative and judicial).

Be careful with the use of commas and stops : Paqui has explained the Bill of the Rights with its 10 amendments. Later 27 amendments were included

I really thought Prohibition came much, much later….maybe I am wrong

The mafias transportedalcohol to the people that liked it and couldn't drink, like in the great TV series "Broadwalk Empire".

Paqui has summarized with her words the War of Spanish Succession

In the middle of the class Bea has arrived and Paqui has joked with her and everyone has laughed a lot.

I don’t think you should include these comments in the journal :Also Arturo, Jesus and Luis ha ve disturbed me because they are very "funny".
Seriously, what a poor journal. Sometimes I think you don’t deserve what Paqui prepares for you

Hello Cristina,

You're right about Prohibition. It was one of the amendments to the USA Constitution, passed in 1919 and in force until 1933. I said this in class, but it seems that Santiago didn't understand it, probably because he was very "busy" with his friends. I explained that the USA Constitution continues to be the same since it was written in 1787, but several amendments have been introduced since then, including Prohibition.

Santiago, you have a lot of things to correct. Do it as soon as possible, please.
