Q3

Track gauge or rail gauge is the distance between the inner sides of the heads of the two load bearing rails that make up a single railway line. Sixty percent of the world's railways use a standard gauge of 1,435 mm.
The difference is that Spanish guage is 1,672mm and the european is 1,435mm.

Q4

The Trans-Siberian Railway.
9,259 kilometres (5,753 miles)
It connects Moscow with the Russian Far East and the Sea of Japan.

Q5

Magnetic levitation (maglev) is a relatively new transportation technology in which noncontacting vehicles travel safely at speeds of 250 to 300 miles-per-hour or higher while suspended, guided, and propelled above a guideway by magnetic fields.

The first passenger line was Liverpool- Manchester in 1830. The Stockton- Darlington line was not a passenger line, but a line that connected the collieries (coal mines)with the city of Stockton.

As for the rest of the questions, Javi´s answers are more complete. Congratulations!
