Today in Social Sciences we have checked the activities from last day. Then we have seen a Powerpoint presentation about "Agrarian landscapes".
In the powerpoint we have seen many things like:

 -Bocages.

-Monoculture.

-dry-land crop.

-irrigated crops.

-Drip irrigation

In my opinion the Powepoint presentation was very interesting :)
Then we have seen same interesting pictures.
When the Powerpoint presentation finished, we have started the next point of the unit "Types of agriculture",
Paqui has said that will be intresting.
After that we have read and paqui has explained us some thinks. Finally paqui has given us one exercise of the review on the page 42 and read the examples of subsistence agriculture on the page 32 and 33 for homework.
GOOD WEEKEND ;)

hello Monica

you have a good journal but i see some mistakes in the second sentences you have to correct the verb to the past particicle, in the first picture you write "plats" and its plots and finally after the pictures you write "sameone" and its someone.

And also you can include the homework that Paqui gave us

Bye have a good weekend

Mari Luz and Diego´s corrections are right. Mónica, you have to pay attention to what you have written. You have written many words as they sound. You have to read again all you´ve written and you´ll find more mistakes for sure.

My corrections are related to pictures: the first two pictures are not agrarian landscapes. The first picture is a city layout and the second one is a housing development. You have to change these pictures or remove them. Another important thing is that you have to write the caption (the explanation of the picture) below the picture, not above it. It´s difficult to understand if the caption is above the pictures.

How do you write "secano" and "regadío" in English? Review these words.

I also think that you could have included the new words you have learned today.

Please, review the corrections of your classmates and rewrite your post.

Ready for the fisrt challenge?

Hello again, Mónica. I´ve seen your changes in the pictures, but there are still some mistakes that you haven´t corrected:

- What is the past participle of the verb "to see"?

- How do you write "cosa" in English?

- "Someone" means "alguien". How do you say "algunos/-as" in English?

- How do you write "cultivos de regadío"? Review the caption of the last picture.

-How do you write "interesante"?

- Remember that "as" means "como", not "nos".

Finally, don´t use bold letter on the blog. Everything has to have the same appearance. See you.

Hello again, Mónica. Review the word "interesante". You´ve written it one time in the right way, but twice in the wrong way.

"Same" means "mismo", not "alguno".

You have to review the past participle of the verb "to see" (third column of the verbs´list).Check this, please.

Proper nouns have to be written with capital letter at the beginning.

In English you have to write "Powerpoint presentation" (Powerpoint is in capital letters and written altogether, because it´s the name of the programme we use to do presentations).

And you haven´t included the new words you´ve learned today.

Come on, if you correct these mistakes your post will be almost perfect!

Hello!
They have corrected you everything, so if you change it you'll have a perfect post like Paqui has told you.
Good work!

Javi, there are still some things to correct, starting from the title of the post. Come on, try to find the remaining mistakes!

Ok, I haven't read the title. It's December. And with that and the other corrections I think that's all.
One question, What's the meaning of bocages?
Bye!

Paqui Pérez Fons said...

Bocage is an enclosed plot of land. It´s the same as enclosure. It´s a French word, but it´s used in different languages (also in Spanish) to refer to plots of land that are separated from other plots of land by walls. hedges or fences.
