MONDAY, OCTOBER 4th, 2010

Today Kelly has come to our class. We have taken a photo for the blog. Then, Paqui has given us the correct crossword. We have done the sheet crossword. Then we saw some maps and Yolanda Abad has gone to the blackboard. At the end of the class Paqui has put us in groups.

I'm with Alejandro, Daniel and Manuel. Each group have to study a continent, we have to study Europe. And for homework we have to do the exercises 1 to 3 from the pages 14 and 15 of the book.

Hello Carlos,

Remember that you have to pay special attention to verb tenses: use the present perfect to tell things that had happened in the morning. And review also the subjects of every verb tense("Each group" is third person singular)

Pay atention to what you have written: how do you say in English "estudiar"?

Another important thing is to include a picture related to what we have done in the class. Today we have used physical maps. So it would be better that you include a physical map, not political, and you have to try to find one in English, not in Spanish.

You can include more information. Review your notes and also the homework you have for Wednesday. You can add what you have learnt about Europe as well.

I´m looking forward to your corrections. Bye!

One last thing: Today it´s the 4th of October, not the 2nd ;)

You have some mistakes in some verbs. For example: It's "study" not *studie* and the past continuous is formed by the verb to be and the verb you need in past participle.
But very good journal!!

Paqui you write faster than me!

Hello Javi. I´ve already read your comments. Very good, but the verb tense we constantly used for the journals is the Present Perfect (We have studied). The past continuous would be "we were studying". I´m not faster than you. Probably we were writing at the same time. Blogs work this way ;)

Sorry, I´ve made a spelling mistake: I wanted to write "the verb tense we constantly use", instead of "used". Sometimes fingers go faster that the brain.

Hi Carlos,
I agree with Paqui and Javi. You have to, include more information about the class. For example, you could have also written that Silvia started to tell the class about Antartica.

Also, be very, careful with the verb tenses and spelling. You've made many mistakes.

Hello Carlos
Your journal is not bad, bat you can add more things, like points of viuw and some personal opinions.
Good picture, but it is in Spanish.
Try to do better next time.
In the sentence " Paqui has given us the correct crossword". You have to say first that she has done a mistake with the other.
In the sentence Yolanda Abad has go to the blackcoard, is has gone to the blackcoard.
Remeber how to write STUDY

Enrique, pay attention to what you write. You tend to write many words as they sound (but, view...) You have also to review before publishing (blackboard...). The comments don´t have to be only critical with the person who writes. You can add your own opinions, explaining the most interesting things for you, what you learned, what you found curious...

Hi Carlos, I see that you have corrected some mistakes and changed the map, but it has to be a physical map , with landforms, not a political one. Try to find a physical map of Europe and change it. And remember: "estudiar" is "to study".

That´s better, Carlos. Finally, you did it!
