There are some other articles of the Constitution that you may find interesting. It would be interesting that you analyze if what is written in the Constitution has a real translation in reality:
ARTICLE 35
1. All Spaniards have the duty to work and the right to work, to the free election of profession or office career, to advancement through work, and to a sufficient remuneration to satisfy their needs and those of their family, while in no case can there be discrimination for reasons of sex.
2. The law shall regulate a statute for workers.
ARTICLE 47
All Spaniards have the right to enjoy decent and adequate housing. The public authorities shall promote the conditions necessary and establish the pertinent norms to make this right effective, regulating the use of land in accordance with the general interest to prevent speculation.
The community shall share in the increased values generated by urban activities of public bodies.

I think any of this two articles are respected. In the first one they contract depending on their interests instead on the qualification of workers and depending on the kind of work they choose more people of one sex, construction men...
and in the second the big problem is fiscal fraud and in Spain it is very practised. This has made that in this crisis Spain has been very hurt. Our representatives(politics) has on his hand the best position to get rid from this discrimination and frauds but many times we don't choose the correct representatives or they become corrupt, I think this is very complex because every person is a world and can change a lot.
See you on friday
Bye
The content of these two articles shows the distance from the theory to the practice. Good intentions in a written document won´t change the situation. Article 47 is especially interesting nowadays. We have suffered property speculation in the last years, many people have high mortgages to pay and this situation hasn´t been controlled nor prevented by the public authorities. Many of them encouraged property speculation, doing exactly the opposite they had to do. The problem ids that people don´t know what the Constitution says.
Abot corruption, I think politicians are a translation of what we have in society. Corruption is a social problem in Spain and as they are the representatives of the people who live in the country, it´s normal that we have corrupted politicians as well. Being informed about what they do is the best way of making good choices. This is the reason why learning about these topics is so important.
