Two music videos about the French Revolution

Here you have two music videos about the French Revolution made by the Honolulu History Teachers for Music Lovers. They used Lady Gaga´s Bad Romance and the Violent Femmes´ Gone, daddy, gone songs. The first one is a general overview of the French Revolution and the second one is about Napoleon Bonaparte.

Hello Silvia,

These videos can be useful to have some ideas about the French Revolution, but they are too general to use them as the only source of information. As I told you in the classroom, this revolution was so important that it deserves a more detailed study.

Anyway, if you want to learn the songs, you will be able to remember some concepts.

See you tomorrow.

I discovered the History Teachers for Music Lovers through the first video. The woman who appears in it is Amy Burvall, the singer of the videos we saw last year (The Spanish Inquisition, Renaissance man and Gutenberg). She performs all the roles and the way she is dressed is very funny as well.

Have a good night, girls!

Hello Ángel. You know I need some time to prepare the karaokes. When I have them, we´ll do another video. I have 4 songs in the fridge and two more in my brain ;)
