Question 1:
The three largest industrial manufacturers are the European Union (a big "country"), USA and China. The recent change is that the EU and USA have advance China. I don't know how will be this in next years.
Question 2:
A maquiladora is a concept often referred to an operation that involves manufacturing in a country that is not the client's and as such has an interesting duty or tariff treatment.
This word was used to describe a system of griding wheat in a outside mill but paying with flour to the mill's owner.
They are mainly located in Mexico.
They produce clothes and other textil products.
Their main problems are that is not always legal, they work a lot and they have low salaries but in other cases is totally legal.
hello everyone:
Question number 1:
The most important industrial manufactures are:
*USA*
*the European Union*
and *China*
1.1China unseated Japan last year like one of the most important indusries of the world.
1.2 The evolution is that China will be the first on the list, bvefore USA and EU.
QUESTION 2:
A maquiladora or maquila is a concept often referred to an operation that involves manufacturing in a country that is not the client's and as such has an interesting duty or tariff treatment. It normally requires a factory, that may import materials and equipment on a duty-free and tariff-free basis for assembly or manufacturing and then "re-exports" the assembled or manufactured product, sometimes back to the originating country. A maquila is also referred to as a "twin plant", or "in-bond" industry. these factories usually are in USA.
bye bye...
oh sorry I forgot some questions...
-the maquiladoras usually produces cootyhs but not always.
One problem is that not always is legal, like javi said, but another is that is it is ilegal hte workres have not a contrat,so if they are dismissed they will not have a salary of desemployers.
this is all
Congratulations, Dani! You´ve won again.
As you said in question 1, China recently outpassed Japan as the second world manufacturer. The first are the USA, but China will outpass the USA in the next years.
With respect to question 2, the two of you have answered correctly, but you have to try to give your own answers, instead of copying from the Wikepedia. The purpose of these challenges is that you make a small research and answer the questions with your own words. This way, you´re showing that you´ve understood the information and you´re able to explain it to other people.
