Monday, 23th January

Source:

Today, Paqui hasn't come, because she is recovering.

We have been with the teacher of duty, Manuel José, music's teacher. The first thing that he did was pass lis, to see if we were all.

After this, we started to do the homework that Paqui placed on the blog last day. During the hour, while we doing the homework, we have been speaking, but in a normal tone. Some of the students have finished the homework, but the other students, have missed the last one or the last two exercices of the book.

The next day, on Wednesday, we will have class with Cristina Blanco, and we will start the point D) The First Industrial Revolution, and perhaps we will check the exercices of today.

Also some students, have make up exam of the first term.

This is all for today.

Bye, Bye!!

  1. Hello Laura,

I see that the guardia teacher has given you the classwork. I´m going wait for your classmates´ corrections, but there are some things you could improve:

    - The picture: you should include something related to the exercises you´ve been doing, something more related to the unit.

    - You could also explain the contents of the exercises you´ve done (what they were about and what you´ve learned with them)

On Wednesday you will start point E (The Second INdustrial Revolution).

That´s all. If you have any questions, please ask me.Bye.

  2. Paqui, the guardia teacher hasn't told us the classwork and homework. We have done it because yesterday we looked at the blog and we saw the tasks for today.
Laura, I think you could explain a little bit more what were the exercises about. And what he have to do for homework too.
    I've found some spelling mistakes:
-The first thing that he did was pass lis*: I think you can not say that in this way.
    - Remember to write all the verbs referred to this morning in the present perfect.
    - As Paqui has told you, the next day, with Cristina, we will start the Second Industrial Revolution.
    That's all I can add!
    See you!

  3. Hello Laura,

I sent the classwork to the staff yesterday and I told them to pass it to the guardia teachers, just in case you didn´t read the blog. It´s good that there were at least some responsible people who checked the blog.

AS you´ve noticed, we don´t say "pass list" in English. We say "check/take the attendance" or "call the roll/register".

I´m going to upload the ppt presentation of the unit right now. It´s not corrected yet, but you can use it to review the concepts you´ve been learning these days. When Cristina BLanco cjhecks it, I´ll upload the definitive version. Have a good night.
