Challenge number 3

This time you will have to research about different types of fish. You will have to answer to four questions:


Question 1

Watch the PowerPoint presentation and write the names in Spanish of the fish that appear. Here you have the list, so you can copy, paste it and don´t have to waste time writing all the names again:

What kind of fish do you mostly eat at home? Name at least 3 different types of fish you eat and the way you eat it (boiled, fried, in sauce, roasted…).

  2. Very good, Dani. Try to answer the questions left. I believe you can look up for the names of the fish you don´t know in the dictionary. Ask your mother about other fish dishes you eat ans about the difference between "pescado blanco" and "pescado azul". She might can help you.

    "Pescado blanco" is white/non- oily fish

    "Pescado azul" is oily/ fatty fish

    The difference lies in the quantity of fat the fish have. White fish contains fat only in the liver. Oily fish is rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Examples of white fish are hake, whiting or cod. Examples of olily fish are horse mackerels, sardines or anchovies.
