Yesterday we studied the different types of companies, depending on their size, their owners and the economic activities they develop. But have you ever asked yourselves how to create an enterprise? You can learn how to do it on the following links:
United Kingdom

USA

Spain

- How to create a cooperative:

And finally, here you have an example of a big cooperative: Grupo Mondragón, the owner of FAGOR and other enterprises. This big cooperative has more than 85,000 workers at present. You can read its story on the link below. The most interesting part refers to the wages workers receive (wage regulation):

I like the cooperatives because all the people has the same rights and all of them have power but I've got a question:
ReplyDeleteI the difficult decisions, how they decide what to do?
Sorry I have forgotten a "n":
ReplyDeleteIn the difficult decisions, how they decice what to do?
Hello Javi,
ReplyDeleteThey use democracy. The members vote and they try to choose the best option. All of them have the same purpose, so they look for the best solution together.
Have you read about wages in the Mondragón group? It´s very interesting. You can notice the differences between normal enterprises and this cooperative. Have a nice end of Sunday. See you tomorrow.
